My Pages.

Its not all about you…

I don’t think I need to tell anyone in this day and age what the purpose of social media is, however I have heard many contradictory opinions of how an aspiring journalist should use or present theirs.

Earn a little money, create a pleasing aesthetic, network and gain a few extra free clothes.

<- this is exactly what I have done.

Raised in a household where I spent most of my childhood and early adulting years in the public eye, always ‘on’, I have engrained it into myself that political opinion or voting tendencies made public will only make your life difficult.

This translates into my posting and liking habits. I am extremely cautious of saying and posting a lot… without posting and saying a lot.

my learns

As well as working for several public figures over the years, I have understood what it takes to be in a place of influence and this comes with responsibility. A responsibility for your actions and motives but also a responsibility that wherever you get yourself in the future, will you be able to look back at what you have done and take credit for it? or will it only come with strings attached.

Numbers where never the goal, but after learning algorithms and practicing trends and influence on my own accounts, I now had a credibility to the work I could produce and what I could generate for the Public figures I would soon go on to help.
